The UK has more coal miners than any other country, according to a new survey.

The UK is the only country where at least 20% of all miners are employed by the mining industry, according the National Mining Survey, which was conducted by the Office for National Statistics.

The survey found that miners employed by coal companies accounted for 21.7% of UK miners in 2016, up from 17.3% in 2016.

The report found that the number of miners in the UK has risen from 1,716,000 in 1990 to 1,872,000 by 2020, an increase of 10.7%.

It also found that in the past decade, the number working in the mining sector in the United Kingdom has risen by more than 5 million, while the number employed in the non-mining sector has fallen by more 3.1 million.
